It is true, that it has always been legal to discuss creation, or intelligent design alongside evolution, but the problem comes when scientific associations (I can't think of the name of the particular one that is on my mind) put pressure, or even threaten to sue school corporations for teaching kids creation.
This bill would just try to protect these kinds things from happening.
